“I don’t know when it’s coming–and neither do you. Neither did Jesus.”
The end of the world has been predicted throughout the centuries. And as of today, all of those predictions have been wrong. Not one person who predicted the day or hour of Christ’s return has been accurate. Jesus told the parable of the bridesmaids in Matthew 25. All 10 of the bridesmaids knew the bridegroom (Jesus) was returning for them, but only 5 of them were prepared. The other 5 had to scurry to find oil for their lamps, and as a result, they missed the wedding feast. The very thing they’d labored and toiled to achieve was missed simply because they procrastinated and the door was closed before they arrived.
We can’t allow this to be the case for us. Jesus is going to return for His bride. Those who love Him, believe He is the Son of God and confess with their mouths that He is the Savior will be taken with Him to enjoy a feast prepared by the Lord. Whether we are alive on the day that happens or the Lord receives us into Heaven before that day, we must be ready at all times. Not one moment shoudl be wasted as we prepare.
Are you prepared? If not, what’s holding you back?
